It’s my first day working the customer service desk, where we do returns. A customer comes up to me with a large bag.

Customer: “I want to return this Roomba.”

Me: “Do you have your receipt?”

Customer: “Sure do!”

It’s still in warranty so I start the process.

Me: “And may I ask, why do you wish to return it?”

Customer: “Full disclosure, my dog had heinous diarrhea while we were at church and the Roomba got to it. We tried to save it but… well… if you want to open the box you’ll see for yourself. It ain’t coming back from that.”
