No Vocation For Location, Part 29

I am in line at the customer service desk, and I can hear a heated exchange between a rude customer and the long-suffering employee, who is about to snap. Finally, the customer has had enough and starts marching out, still shouting back at the employee.

Customer: “If this is how you treat your customers, no wonder you’re all going out of business! I’m going to Home Depot!”

I feel compelled to shout at him.

Me: “This is Home Depot!”

The customer freezes and for the first time seems to be fully aware of where he is. He plants both his feet on the ground and screams at the air.

Customer: “F***!”

The storming out continued.
