This happened while my mom was pregnant with me. Since I was her first child, people were quite high-strung. My mom was talking with her sister, my aunt.
Aunt: “Hey, [Mom], what’s your due date?”
Mom: “[Date].”
Aunt: “Great. Just remember, I’m going to be in DC for a wedding on [date], so if you have the baby early, do not have them on that weekend.”
Mom: “Are you kidding? That’s way before my due date!”
Guess what weekend I was born on! My aunt was royally ticked, but I was quickly forgiven for my inconvenient entrance.
