Allergic To Common Sense, Part 28

 A couple comes into the restaurant about five minutes before closing.

Customer: “Can we get the special for the evening?”

Me: “The garlic chicken?”

Customer: “Yes, please.”

I ring it up, and as I am setting their meal down in front them, the man turns to me and lets me know:

Customer: “Oh, there’s garlic in these? Both of us are highly allergic to garlic. Please remake it without garlic.”

I told the manager as it was now fifteen minutes past closing. He told them where the exit was!
