I work for a Japanese-owned company. One day, one of our directors announces his departure, and there’s an informal gathering in the office to wish him farewell. A company Vice President from Japan begins to offer a short speech.
Vice President: “I cannot find the words in English to express…”
Director: *Cutting him off* “Get rid of.”
