This Customer Has A Latte Problems, Part 6

There is this woman who comes to our coffee shop every day. She only started coming a week ago.

Customer: “Vanilla latte with no foam.”

The first time I make her drink and hand it to her, she asks:

Customer: “No foam, right?”

Me: “Yep, no foam.”

This woman proceeds to look me dead in the eyes, take off the lid of the drink, and blow into it to see if there’s foam. She notices the slightest bit of foam.

Customer: “Such an incompetent worker! You clearly should not be working in any kind of customer service!”

Just to keep her at bay, we make the drink again. This time, I let my coworker make it; I am in no mood to be chewed out again for something that I can’t control. My coworker finishes it and gives it to her. She then takes off the lid and blows and notices the slightest bit of foam again.

Customer: “Can no one in this f****** place make a drink?”

So, now, my manager makes it. Instead of steaming the milk, she fills it halfway with whole milk halfway and hot water for the rest, so there will be zero foam. We are never supposed to make it like that; it’s only supposed to be steamed milk. My manager gives it to her, and she then drinks it and says:

Customer: “Thank you. I can see you’re the only smart one here.”

She didn’t even check to see if there was foam for some odd reason.

Every time she comes into the store, she treats all of the employees on the floor like kids and only asks for the manager to make her drink. If the manager is not there, she leaves.
