Love Is “Woke”?

We sell lots of handmade crafts and some luxury items.

Customer: “Why is this blanket so expensive?”

Me: “Well, that’s handmade, and it was a real labor of love, so—”

The customer immediately drops the blanket on the ground like it is contaminated and interrupts me.

Customer: “Ugh. Made with love? That’s some of that ‘woke’ bulls***.”

They hurried toward the exit.
