Unfiltered Story #211649

I’m the idiot customer in this story. I’m looking for ice cub trays and never having to buy them before, have never really paid any attention to where they would be in a store. I’m looking around the store and can’t seem to find them, so I finally ask an associate that’s in the same aisle as me.

Me: “Excuse me, do you guys sell ice cub trays?”

Him: “Yes we do, we have some right here and here” (pointing to a shelf that’s literally directly in front and then a shelf above that and over to the right).

I worked retail for years and have always wondered how customers like this happen, and well, now I know. Exhaustion and just general cluelessness.
