That’s Right, Nothing!

I work in a music shop that sells instruments primarily to beginning band students. A dad comes in with his son one day.

Dad: “You know, band is for girls. Everyone is going to think you’re gay!”

He goes on and on in this manner until I finally snap.

Me: “What’s wrong with being a girl or gay?”

He didn’t have an answer and instead turned bright red. But he shut his mouth.
