Unfiltered Story #259512

, , , | Unfiltered | June 4, 2022

I’ve gone to a restaurant with a group of friends I haven’t seen in a while. We all have sarcastic senses of humor. After eating, a few of us pull out our phones and start taking pics of the other people at the table. [Friend #1] is African-American, while I am white.

My phone is not a smartphone and comes with a very basic camera. I scroll through the photos I’ve just taken, which turn out to be lower quality than I’d like and predominately in shades of gray, black and yellow, even though the lighting in the restaurant is much brighter in life.

Me: They’re dark. They all came out so dark.

Friend #1: … Oh, you’re talking about your photos. I was about to say, we were going to have a problem.

My only response is to stick my tongue out at him. Everyone around the table bursts out laughing.
