I work at a big box craft store. An employee who worked on stocking shelves was leaving one evening and a manager happened to be with them. The employee’s trunk was open, and the trunk was stuffed with store merchandise.

Not a crime to buy stuff in the store, but as the managers were the ones required to do employee sales, they knew she had not bought anything recently.
