At an airport car rental outlet, unexpected demand meant that all cars had been rented out at all companies. I was a regional driver sent from an airport a few hours away; my crew was bringing in six more cars. I arrived just in time to hear this gem.
Customer: “You can rent me your personal car, or I can give you a terrible review. Your choice.”
In that company, a review of less than 4.6 out of 5 could cost you serious money.
