This Should Be The Model For All Employees
A friend of mine gets hired at a pizza place as a dishwasher and makes it EXCRUCIATINGLY CLEAR that he cannot work with customers because he WILL NOT put up with even the SLIGHTEST bit of nonsense.
One day, he is put behind the register against his will. He is grumpy about it but puts up with it decently until one particular customer comes up to him.
Customer: “There’s pepperoni on my pizza. I’m allergic to pepperoni.”
Friend: “I’m sorry. What kind of pizza was it?”
Customer: “Pepperoni stuffed pepperoni lovers’.”
Friend: “Are you f****** stupid?”
He only kept his job because he had warned the manager so many times that he wouldn’t put up nicely with problem customers. He was never put in a customer-facing position again for the rest of his employment there.
Also, the customer had already eaten half of the pizza before going up to complain.
