The Birds And The Hunny Bees

(My husband and I are at his parents’ house, visiting with our four-year-old daughter. An old family friend is also present. My daughter is very shy, so the family friend tries to break the ice.)

Family Friend: “Who is that?”

(The family friend points to our daughter’s Pooh Bear.)

Daughter: “That’s Pooh!”

Mother-In-Law: “Believe it or not, she’s had him since she was born.”

Daughter: “Yep! When I was a baby in mommy’s belly! Daddy put me in there, and it was an accident…”
