Refund Requests That Tanked
Customer: “I need to return this fish tank.”
Me: “Was there something wrong with it?”
Customer: “It’s the wrong size.”
Me: “I remember warning you that it would be too small for the fish you intended to purchase.”
Customer: “Yeah, whatever. Refund.”
Me: “We can’t return that aquarium unless it was faulty.”
Customer: “But I have my receipt, and it’s never been used!”
Me: “Sir, the box has been ripped open, and the tank is still wet.”
Customer: “Well… barely used.”
Me: “And you barely could have gotten that refund. Sorry, sir.”
He left the tank behind as he walked out.
