Makes You Want To Use Salty Language
I work in a seafood restaurant next to Loch Lomond in Scotland.
Customer: “Is the haddock caught in the loch?”
Me: “Haddock is a saltwater fish; Lochs are fresh water.”
Customer: “Have you ever thought about sprinkling some salt in it? You know… to attract them?”
Me: “Haha, good one. I’ll ask the manager to do that tomorrow.”
Customer: “Does this mean you’d have loch-caught haddock by tomorrow? We leave the day after, so that would be nice.”
