Intelligence Is Not In A-Bun-dance

(My mother and I go for hamburgers for lunch.)

Me: “I’d like a meal set with no hamburger bun for myself, and a meal set with no mayonnaise on the burger for my mom.”

(When we sit down, my mother opens her burger wrapper.)

Mom: “I only have a burger bun, with no patty or dressing. Apparently the kitchen staff think ‘burger with no mayo’ must be code for ‘burger bun for the other burger on the side.'”
