In “Buy One, Get One Free” You Still Need To Get One
A customer puts an item on the counter. I ring her up and collect the money, and she leaves, but not for long. She comes back.
Customer: “That item was ‘buy one get one free’; you only gave me one.”
Me: “If you want two, that would require you putting two on the counter.”
I explained it twice more. She nodded but still didn’t get it.
