Feel Free To Demand For Free And We Will Feel Free To Show You The Door
My manager takes a call on the customer line.
Caller: “I want a free pizza.”
Manager: “Pardon me?”
Caller: “Free… pizza! I have a credit on my account.”
Manager: “We don’t have accounts. We just keep your address and phone number; that’s why the company sends out comp cards.”
The caller provides two numbers and addresses, but we just straight-up don’t have them in our system. After the caller screams at my seventeen-year-old manager and brings the poor girl to weeping tears, I pick up the phone.
Me: “What’s your deal? Why are you treating a young girl like that?”
Caller: *Enraged* “You stole the credit on my account! You’re using it so that you can get a free pizza for yourselves!”
Me: “Just an FYI: when you work in a food place, getting free food from your workplace is usually not an issue. We don’t do account credits. Stop trying to scam a free pizza.”
Caller: “I will pay zero for my pizza!”
Me: “Certainly! You will get as much pizza as you pay for! Have you received zero pizza? Awesome! Bye, now!”
I hung up and blacklisted that number.
