I am playing a game on XBox Live on my XBox 360. The game involves traveling through areas infested with zombies. Obviously. there’s lots of violent content; lots of blood, gore, dismemberment, death, etc. I’m playing with my headset so I can talk to my teammates. For this round, only one person joins me. This person also has a headset and when I first heard the voice of my partner, I thought it was a woman, but when I listened to how this person spoke, I realized it was a prepubescent boy.

Me: “Wait, how old are you?”

Partner: “Ten.”

Me: “Isn’t this game a little violent for your age?”

Partner: “Yeah.”

Me: *shrugs* “OK, let’s do it.”

We made it to the end alive.
