I am working on an assignment in the engineering computer lab. A classmate comes in to start working and offers me a snack.

Me: “Sure, let me just go wash my hands.”

Classmate: “How come?”

Me: “I never touch food after using a public computer. It’s not sanitary.”

Classmate: *waves me off dismissively* “No no no, you can’t…” *he pauses and his eyes light up. He lifts his finger, obviously thinking he has the perfect gotchya line* “Listen… do you ever clean your phone?”

Me: “Yes! I do! As well as my [I]wallet and keys![/I]”

Classmate: *defeated* “Oh…”

I quickly washed my hands, came back, and accepted his offer of a snack.
