I am visiting my boyfriend at his flat, I decide to try my hand at making bread but it goes wrong and am left with a rock hard loaf. My boyfriend’s flat mate puts it outside on the veranda.

Flatmate “ I have an idea” *picks up the loaf and draws a face on it “I always wanted a pet brick, I’ll call him Brickie”

Brickie lives on the veranda for about two weeks before there is a week of rain.

Flatmate “Uh oh, looks like Brickie is finally edible”

We look out to see several birds pecking at his back. Later that evening the flat mate goes outside and picks up , the birds had gouged out his back.

Flatmate “Aww poor Brickie what did those birds do to you? OMG he’s been out in the rain for a week and still hard as a rock. (My Name) you could make bricks for a living”.
