Unfiltered Story #197519

(There’s a regular customer who comes in here all the time with her two children. My boss knows her well. My boss says that she’s only 19, but looks 30, with 2 unruly kids, ages 2 and 4. We are chatting about them.)

Customer: “These kids are a handful, but I can’t stop making them. I’m really into my husband, ya know?”

Me: “Uh huh…”

Customer: *at kids, who are running around* “Hey stop that!” *kids ignore her, to me* “If you’re really into a man, you should have his kids right away, ya know? That way, he’ll stay. Forever.”

Me: “Okay…”

Customer: “Sometimes these kids are really a handful, but I was just so into my husband, ya know? Plus, when he knocked me up, my daddy told him to marry me or he’ll shoot him. I think he was joking!” *laughs* “But yeah, I think I’ll have more kids with my husband as soon as possible. I’m just so into him! He’s mine! Forever!”

(After a few more months, I didn’t see them again. I heard that they split up, even though she had more kids by him. According to my boss. I guess kids don’t make a marriage stick together!)
