What Kind Of Outfit Are You Running Here?
I work in a costume store.
Me: “Rentals department, how can I help you?”
Customer: “Hi. How many days are your rentals?”
Me: “Rental periods are for three days or less.”
Customer: “How much is [costume] for three days?”
Me: “That item runs $200 with a security deposit of $1000.”
Customer: “Wow, that’s expensive! How much for one day?”
Me: “The same. The fee applies for any time in a one-, two-, or three-day period.”
Customer: “I only need it for an hour or two! How much will that be?”
Me: “The same; it’s a flat fee: $200 for three days or less with a security deposit of $1000.”
Customer: “But I don’t need it for three days!”
Sigh…
