They Probably Weighed Even More With All Those Bags

I am a bagger in a fancy high-end grocery store. A customer is glaring at me as I bag her groceries.

Customer: “You’re bagging those too heavy!” 

Me: “Sorry, ma’am. I’ll use more bags.”

I spread them out so that there are only three or so items in each bag.

Customer: “You’re still bagging those too heavy!”

Silently, I say, “F*** it,” and just put one item in each bag. After paying, the customer then picks up ALL THE BAGS in both her hands and walks away with them. 

Customer: *Muttering to herself* “Why are these still so heavy?!”
