A Toast To Trolls
Customer: “Hi there. I hear you guys can help me with my toaster?”
Me: “Okay… what is the problem with your toaster?”
Customer: “I don’t know. How do I use it?”
Me: “Well, it’s a toaster. Have you used a toaster before?”
Customer: “Well, yes, but this one isn’t working.”
Me: “Okay, well, is it plugged in?”
Customer: “I have to plug it in?”
Me: “…Yes.”
Customer: “Okay, it’s plugged in. Now what?”
Me: “Get bread. Put it in. Push lever down. Is it working now?”
A pause…
Customer: “It works!”
I don’t know if she was trolling me or if she was really that dumb.
