Unfiltered Story #273685

(I was a senior in high school and just passed by one of my favorite teachers in the hall; it was the day the first Hunger Games movie had come out in theaters. This teacher had also read part of the first book in class–we were in the process of finishing it one day.)

Me: (to teacher) Happy Hunger Games.

Teacher: (giggles happily) Thank you…

Me: And may the ODDS BE EVER IN YOUR FAVOR!!! (crosses into the cafeteria, happy as a lark)

(Side note: I saw the first film a couple months after she did, but that was beside the point. We were both very hyped up.)
