Unfiltered Story #255592
By the calendar, it’s spring, but SW Montana gets a fair share of “weather,” so a day that is actually “springlike” in May doesn’t come along every week. Between snow, cold, and wind, we all really appreciate a mild, sunny, wind-free day when we get one.
I’m dropping off items to the Reservation Desk, and mention the beauty of the day outside.
Me: It’s gorgeous out there! And I’m not at all unhappy that it’s not win–”
Clerk: “NO! NO! STOP! It’s the Voldemort thing! He who shall NOT BE NAMED!!! DON’T SAY THE “W” WORD!!! NO WIND! NO WIND!!! –her arm gestures REALLY added emphasis, too…
Her colleague and I both totally cracked up–and we’re NOT gonna say that “W” word!
