This is back when I’m working at a convenience store. There are two customers waiting in line. First customer buys a package of cigarettes and a deck of cards.
Me: “Your total comes to $6.66.”
Customer pays, and leaves. Second customer buys a few items. Coincidentally, they have the same total.
Me: “Your total comes to $6.66.”
Second customer: “Oh, no. Nope.” Quickly scans the candy bars by the register and adds to the total.
