Unfiltered Story #243058
My mom was bringing me to the barbers when we bumped into her sister who decided to tag along with us. They’re the kind who lean on each other, hold hands and chat forever. My mom very short hair and my aunt has a bob that covers half her neck. I currently have hair barely touching my shoulders. I look a lot like mom but few peg my aunt as being related.
Mom: Hi there sir, a cut for my little girl. Just cut only.
Barber: Alright. What kind of cut?
Me: Just like mom!
Mom: *nods and nudges me forward*
Mom and Aunt: *chatting*
Barber: Uh, ma’am? Ladies?
Aunt: *finally pauses to look at barber*
Mom: Oh please don’t do this. Short hair is fine!
Barber: Actually, I was going to ask which mom?
Mom: What? *looks at sister and detaches her hand* Oh no no. We are sisters! I’m the mom, she’s the aunt.
Barber: Oh, okay, sorry.
