I work in a Castle where we have a twice a day birds of prey display (which are kept on display in the gardens all day) and we have original furniture from 1379 on display up stairs. We don’t allow dogs in the castle or in the main gardens (they are however allowed in the cafe where we give them water and they can stay in the seating area in the gardens)

Had a woman come in with the typical ‘Can I see the manager’ hair cut complaining that she had driven ‘all this way’ and she saw on the parking ticket machine that dogs aren’t allowed in, and proceeded to flip shit, despite the fact that it’s very clearly on our website and leaflets that dogs are not allowed in. I mean its not just to protect the birds and the furniture, but those birds are fucking stronk and could easilly kill a dog. She threatened to leave us a bad review because we couldn’t let her dog in and walked out shouting.
