I work in a home décor fabric store. We often get customers calling to ask about specific fabrics, but please if you do this have more than a general description. This happens more than a couple times a week.
Customer: Hi, I saw a fabric in a magazine and I was wondering if you have it? It was blue with flowers on it.
Me: Do you have a name for the fabric, or a manufacturer? Was it on a couch or curtains?
Customer: It was blue with flowers on it! Why can’t you tell me if you have it? You should be able to just look it up online!
Me: … Why don’t you just email us a picture of it and we’ll get back to you.
