I am a hostess, and the other day I set a party of six in a large booth in the corner of the bar.

Customer 1: Could you find a deeper darker hole to put us in?
Customer 2: It’s like being stuck in an elevator.
Me: Would you like me to put you at another table?
Customer 3: It is a little tight…
Me: Okay, I can push those tables over there together–
Customer 4: Well we’re all sitting down here already.
Me: It’s no trouble, I can get you another table–
Customer 2: No, we’re fine.
Me: Are you sure–
Customer 5: We’re fine, it’s fine.
