Server: Hi, how are y’all today?
Customer: Sweet tea.
*was not aware that one could be sweet tea/coke/etc.*

Server: What would you like to drink?
Customer: Ice water with lemon in a glass with a straw.
*wonders if people often try to serve her from a bowl*

Server still in process of setting down drinks, has not yet had a single second to reach into apron to pass out straws.
Customer: Can I have a straw?

Server: Our soup today is Manhattan clam chowder–it’s the red one.
Customer: Manhattan… Is that the white one or the red one?
_____________
Server: I will be right back with some more tea. Is there anything else I can get for you at the moment?
Customer: Yeah I need some tea.
