Those Who Cannot Code… Really Shouldn’t

My client had full access to his web pages and was able to modify the HTML, CSS, etc. One day, I come into work and see that he has placed line breaks ( br ) in random locations throughout his page.

Me: “Why did you place breaking points everywhere on your page?”

Client: “Breaking points?”

Me: “Yeah, the br’s that you put into the HTML last night.”

Client: “Well, I thought some of the text could use a bit more colour, so I added that thinking that it would make the text after it in the code bright red.”
