Needs A Confirmation Confirmation
(Our office has an online registration system that our clients use. I can’t count how many times I’ve received an email or phone call like this.)
Client: “I wanted to make sure my online registration form was received.”
Me: “Yes, I see it in our system. You should have received an automated confirmation email stating that it was successfully submitted; did that not come through to you? If not, I’ll have to let IT know there’s a glitch somewhere.”
Client: “Oh, yes, I got the confirmation that my form was received. I just wanted to make sure you got it!”
Me: *facepalm*
