Unfiltered Story #328129

When we lived in our old house, my mom had a room reserved for office work. It also doubled as her not-so-secret snack stash. Seriously, most of that room was stuffed with bags of candy.

So one day, my mom comes home from work and spots our five pound Maltipoo coming down the hallway towards the living room, dragging a bag of Kisses about as big as she was along with her. The moment she spotted my mom, she ditched the candy and bolted under the couch, her go-to place for wanting to be left alone. Turned out mom didn’t close the door all the way, so the little bandit took her chance.

Thankfully, she didn’t eat any of them. But when mom checked under the couch to see if [Dog] was okay, she spotted a partially shredded bag of pretzels. She’d stolen those earlier and hadn’t even really eaten anything out of the bag before she got greedy for more. Mom was way more careful with the door after that.
