( I work in customer service for a big tech company)
Me: welcome to (tech company) how may I help you
Customer: hi i need help with my (other company) email adress
Me: I’m sorry but I cannot help you with that, you’ll have to contact (other companys) support instead
Customer: oh okay, can you transfer me to them?
Me: no I’m sorry I can’t do that, they’re our competitors we don’t cooperate with their support
Customer: oh okay, then you can help me right
Me: no like I said you’ll have to talk to them
Customer: can you transfer me?
Me: *biggest facepalm ever*
(Customer gave up after 10 minutes and hung up on me)
