Unfiltered Story #289201

This isn’t a funny story, but it happened 45 years ago and I’m the last person alive who remembers this. I don’t want this kindness to be forgotten

My mom’s aunt was 75 years old. She lived along a dirt road in the hills of Western Massachusetts.

She experienced a crisis that required her to leave her home. No time to call my mom, just grab her purse in get out.

So this tiny lady, walked down a mountainside dirt road in the dark until she reached the main road.

Then she hitch hiked.

A kind lady picked her up and drove her to our house, TWENTY MILES away.

Wherever you are, kind lady, you are fondly remembered
