About midnight a driver comes to fuel desk and says he s lost his wife. I tell him not to worry and that she’ll turn up soon. He say s, “Not my wife. My wallet.” I said ” oh my gosh! Your wallet? We gotta call somebody!” I dialed PD for him and at 4 am one of our finest walked in the door waving the wallet. Every dollar the driver had still inside. All $4,000. He had left it in the shopping cart at Wal mart. Another customer had found it and turned it in.
