While sitting at a bus stop, I discuss a book with my friend. A random guy comes up to us and starts praising us for talking about books instead of “those silly things girls always talk about.” He lauds us for not being “like those other girls” and claims we’re the first girls he’s met in a long while who “actually had something important to say.”
When the bus finally came, we shot straight to the back and luckily, he didn’t follow.
