I go with my mom to a large Home Improvement Store. As I love to build things for myself I am there to by a pocket jig set. As I look over the options I note a sign. It says if I buy on jig set I’d get a screw set free. I figured that works out great so I pick them up and a couple of clamps too.

At check out the sale doesn’t come up. I ask the cashier about it and she doesn’t know anything about it. She asks if I would be willing to go take a picture of the sign. No problem.

Me: Here. (Opening the phone so she can read it)
Cashier: (checks a bunch of index numbers) Oh the sale is for a larger set.
Me: Oh, I didn’t see that. That’s okay.
Cashier: We have four of them in stock I could send for someone.
Me: No it’s alright. I still needed the screws anyways.
Cashier: (punches in a few numbers making the screws just about free) There! Our secret.
Me: Thanks so much! I’m building a desktop and that helps.
Cashier: You’re quite welcome.

She has damaged out part of the order. What an awesome cashier.
