Unfiltered Story #249609

, , | Unfiltered | December 16, 2021

I have had many strange experiences working at a thrift shop, but this one is still fresh on my mind.
I was helping a woman check out at my register, and everything is normal, until I hear, “SLOW DOWN GIRL, YOU’RE GOING TOO FAST.”
I look up at the woman and ask her to repeat herself, because I hope I’ve heard her wrong. She repeated the exact same thing. I stopped what I was doing, looked her in the eye, and asked if there was a problem.
She did a complete 180! All of a sudden, she was telling me how great I was doing and how “those people at the grocery store” are always so slow. I didn’t really know what to say, so I finished her transaction and wished her a good day. Neither I nor the woman bagging for me had any clue what point she was trying to make!

Question of the Week

Have you ever served a bad customer who got what they deserved?

I have a story to share!
