Unfiltered Story #249607

I have a 20 minute commute home from work, through the mountains. Today happened to be gorgeous. Sun shining, kinda warm even though the wind was blowing hard. So I had my car windows down. I’m also a young woman, in my mid 20s.
I was driving along, listening to music when I hear honking beside me. I look over and there is a man, old enough to be my father.
I thought maybe he was trying to tell me I had a break light out or something.
Boy, was I wrong.
He was pointing at his left ring finger, basically asking if I was married.
I nodded my head and accelerated to get away from next to him.
He then slowed down enough to get behind me for a minute or two, then passed me and started zooming in and out of traffic.
Needless to say, I was creeped out enough to not go straight home and call my partner to tell him what happened.
I also wonder if I’d have shook my head no, what would have happened? Would I have been followed or what?
