(So I work at the Dallas Public Library and one day I’m going through returns when one of the books scans as ‘barcode not recognized’. Now this happens sometimes due to accidentally scanning the retail barcode instead of the library barcode or because the item has gone missing so long it’s been removed from the system. So I double check the barcode to see which it might be. Imagine my surprise to see it clearly labeled as belonging to the DENTON Public Library.)
