Unfiltered Story #244033

(My friend and I are driving through the parking lot. We’ve got the windows down. An old couple crosses my path, so I stop to wait for them. I continue our conversation about this guy from ASL class.)
Me: “I wish he’d slow down his signing, but he says everyone else is slow and stupid.”
(The couple starts glaring at me but I keep talking. I don’t understand why they were upset until they’ve crossed and I’m on my way.)
Me: “Oh my god. [Friend,] you don’t think they thought I was talking about them, do you?”
Friend: “I was hoping you just didn’t notice them glaring…”
