(I’m a teacher’s aide, and one of my tasks is to grade student’s tests. It just so happens that I aide for a teacher I had last year, and thus grading tests for a class I already took. I also know quite a few people in that class. This exchange happens with one of my friends, who is notorious for not being able to ride a bike.)

Me: [Friend], reading those tests was like watching you ride a bike. I’m rooting so hard for them but they just crash and burn!

Friend: *loses it* That bad, huh?
