So one night, I was working a short shift at a fast food chain restaurant. One customer comes up to the walk up window and he orders a combo; that seemed all well and good, but it was the drinks that made me annoyed at him.
Customer: What do you have to drink?
Me: Our drink choices are over there.
I point to the far right (or the customer’s left) of our menu. He looks at the drink choices for a moment and then, asks…
Customer: Do you have raspberry iced tea?
Me: No sir. We do have strawberry melon iced and regular iced tea in its place.
He looks at the drink choices again and then, asks…
Customer: Do you have pink lemonade?
Me: No sir. But we do have regular lemonade and strawberry lemonade.
Me: *Yelling Internally* Can’t you see what we have? You’re looking at it! Are you blind?
The customer ended up getting lemonade.
