So I work at a hotel where most of our guest are business men and women and every so often we do have guest who are here for leisure. Since it’s mostly business guest we try and keep the lobby some what quiet. Well it’s Christmas Eve and a lady approaches me and our breakfast lady and says

Guest: “Everything is wonderful except it’s completely inappropriate that there isn’t any Christmas music playing, after all it is Christmas eve.”

Me: “Ma’am I can assure you, we are playing Christmas music right now.”

Guest: “But it doesn’t sound like it, it’s to poppy.”

Me: ” I’m sorry about that Ma’am. We receive a CD monthly by corporate and play what’s on the CD. There is a wide variety of songs that are played.”

Guest: “Well turn it up please, I like this song.”

Me: “Right away Ma’am.”

I go in the back to turn it up.. She comes back 2 mins later.

Guest: “Louder, I cannot hear.”

I go back to turn it up a little more. I come out of the back office and she is packing up her stuff to go back to her room….
