(My bus pulls into the bay at the station, completely empty. The bus doors open and we start to get on when:)
DRIVER: Sorry, I’m full.
FIRST PERSON IN THE LINE: Oh. *starts to walk away, confused*
DRIVER: *laughs* Sorry, I’m just kidding. Come on in!
FIRST PERSON: *laughs and gets on*
ME: *trying to keep a straight face on and failing* There’s a lot of invisible passengers on this bus!
DRIVER: Yeah! *laughs*
